Prof. Xiaohua Zhao
Beijing University of Technology, China
Biography:
Professor Zhao is a doctoral advisor at Beijing University of Technology and holds multiple positions in various international and domestic committees in the transportation field, in addition to serving as a reviewer for several important journals. He has engaged in research on driving behavior, traffic safety, and traffic information and control technology for many years, developing a human-centered research approach. His research findings have made a significant impact in both domestic and international driving behavior fields. He participated in a visiting program at the National Advanced Driving Simulator (NADS) at the University of Iowa in the United States. He has led and participated in over 30 national and local science and technology projects and has published 185 academic papers, of which 60 are indexed in SCI/SSCI. He holds multiple patents and software copyrights. He has received several awards for his scientific and technological achievements, including awards from the China Intelligent Transportation Association and the Beijing Municipality. Additionally, he has guided students to win nearly 30 provincial and ministerial level awards and has been recognized as an outstanding talent and a backbone teacher for the youth in Beijing.
Prof. Liang Yang
Hunan University, China
Biography:
Liang Yang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, was born in 1977. He obtained his Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University in 2006. He has conducted postdoctoral research at City University of Hong Kong and TAMUQ. His main research fields include wireless communication and optical wireless communication. He has published over 120 papers in IEEE journals, such as IEEE JSAC, IEEE TCOM, IEEE TVT, IEEE TWC, and IEEE TIFS, which are internationally recognized core journals. His H-index on Google Scholar and ResearchGate is 41. He has been selected for the Stanford list of the top 2% of scientists globally for five consecutive years and has been recognized as a "Highly Cited Researcher in China" by Elsevier for 2023 and 2024. He has led five projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project under the National Key R&D Program, and has participated as the project leader in one key project under the National Natural Science Foundation Regional Innovation and Development Joint Fund. He serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, including IEEE TCOM, IEEE TCCN, IEEE WCL, IEEE COMML, and the Journal of Computer Science: Information Science, as well as Communications Magazine, among others. He was awarded the excellent doctoral dissertation of Guangdong Province in 2007 and received the second prize for the Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award in 2019 (ranked first). In 2021, he was recognized as an outstanding scientific worker by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and in 2020, he received the Best Editorial Board Member Award from IEEE WCL. He also serves as the vice chairman of the Hunan Electronic Society.
Prof. Dexin Yu
Jimei University, China
Biography:
Dexin Yu is a professor, doctoral supervisor at Jimei University. He also serves as the director of the Jilin Province Intelligent Transportation Engineering Research Center. His main research areas include intelligent transportation systems (ITS), traffic system analysis, and traffic control theory and technology. As the project leader, he has successfully completed over 20 national and provincial-level engineering and industrialization projects in China, including 6 projects under the National High-Tech Research and Development Program (863 Program) and 1 project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. As a key contributor, he has received two National Science and Technology Progress Awards (second class), three provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological awards (including two first-class and one second-class awards), one first-class teaching achievement award from Jilin Province, and holds 7 invention patents.
