Prof. Limin Jia

Beijing Jiaotong University, China

Biography:

Limin Jia, PhD advisor, is the chief professor of the National Key Laboratory of Rail Transit Control and Safety and the chief scientist of the National Rail Transit Safety Collaborative Innovation Center. He is also the director of the Beijing Urban Traffic Information Intelligent Perception and Service Engineering Technology Research Center and a member of the Expert Advisory Committee for National Intelligent Transportation Systems. He is a specially invited expert of the Information Technology Leading Group of the Ministry of Transport, the leader of the expert group for the “National Major Special Project for Advanced Rail Transit Technology Development During the 13th Five-Year Plan,” and the deputy leader of the overall expert group for the “Joint Action Plan for Independent Innovation of Chinese High-Speed Trains.” Dr. Jia has hosted, participated in, and completed nearly 40 national and provincial-level research projects, of which he was the principal investigator for 26. Over 20 of these projects have passed provincial or ministerial-level achievement identification or review. He has received various awards for scientific and technological progress four times and has been recognized for excellent reviews of National Natural Science Foundation projects five times. He has published more than 200 papers, either independently or in collaboration with students, over 60 of which have been indexed by international authoritative databases such as SCI, EI, ISTP, and CE. He has received academic or achievement awards nine times. Dr. Jia is one of the founders in the field of "Intelligent Automation and Intelligent Control in Railways" and is a pioneer in the technical research of intelligent transportation systems in railways.

Prof. Weibin Zhang

Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China

Biography:

Weibin Zhang is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Electronic Engineering and Optical Technology, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He serves as a council member of the New Technology Branch of the China Transportation Association and as the deputy director of the Intelligent Transportation Specialized Committee of the Jiangsu Systems Engineering Society, as well as a council member of the Jiangsu Systems Engineering Society. His main research areas include communication, intelligent transportation, artificial intelligence, and big data. He has led over 20 projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program. He has published more than 100 academic papers, with over 50 indexed by SCI and 3 recognized as highly cited papers by ESI. He also serves as a reviewer for nearly 10 SCI journals, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Transportation Research Part C, Transportation Research Part D, Transportmetrica A, Ocean Engineering, Journal of Navigation, and Reliability Engineering and System Safety. Additionally, he has authorized and applied for about 30 invention patents.

Prof. Feng Zhou

Nanjing Tech University, China

Biography:

Feng Zhou is a professor and Ph.D. supervisor, a nationally registered civil engineer (geotechnical), and a visiting scholar at City University of Hong Kong. He currently serves as the Dean and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Transportation and Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Research Center for Safety Assurance Technology of Transportation Infrastructure. He is the leader of the “Advanced Techniques in Deep Foundation Engineering” team in the Jiangsu Province Excellent Science and Technology Innovation Program and a young academic leader in the Jiangsu Provincial 333 Talent Project. With extensive experience in soil mechanics and foundation engineering, he has led over 30 research projects, including significant national defense projects and various national and provincial funding initiatives. He has filed over 70 national patents, with 58 authorized, and published more than 100 academic papers, including over 50 indexed by SCI/EI. Additionally, he has authored two monographs, contributed to two others, and compiled six technical standards. Zhou has received more than 20 provincial and ministerial awards, including the China Invention Association Person of the Year Award and the Second Prize for Technological Progress in Fujian Province. He serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals and holds leadership roles in professional societies, including the Jiangsu Provincial Soil Mechanics and Engineering Society. Furthermore, he is an expert reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation and various academic journals, including the International Journal of Geomechanics.
