Prof. Shoufeng Lu

Biography:

Professor Shoufeng Lu is a master's and Ph.D. supervisor and the leader of the Transportation Engineering discipline at Nanjing Tech University. He is also the deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Infrastructure Safety Assurance Engineering Research Center and the head of the "Intelligent Transportation and Smart Highways" micro-specialization. His main research areas include intelligent transportation systems and mesoscopic traffic flow modeling. He serves as a communication review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation and is a member of the China Transportation Association and the East Asia Transportation Association.

Prof. Lin Zhang

North China University of Science and Technology, China

Biography:

Lin Zhang, male, was born in March 1979 in Tangshan, Hebei Province. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and is a professor at the School of Civil Engineering, North China University of Science and Technology. He is also a master’s supervisor and the executive deputy director of the Sino-U.S. Urban Transportation Research Center at the university. In recent years, he has led the completion of one project funded by the Hebei Provincial Natural Science Foundation, one project from the Tangshan Science and Technology Development Bureau, and one project from the Tangshan Social Science Federation. He has also participated in two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and one project under the National Science and Technology Support Program. He has published three monographs and over 30 academic papers.

Prof. Baorui Han

Nanjing Forestry University, China

Biography:

Baorui Han, Ph.D. in Engineering, professor. He completed his undergraduate studies in Highway and Urban Roads at Tongji University, obtained his master's degree in Road and Railway Engineering from Southeast University, and earned his Ph.D. in Forest Engineering from Nanjing Forestry University. He has also served as a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota in the United States. Currently, he is the secretary-general of the Jiangsu University Student Transportation Science and Technology Competition Organizing Committee, and a member of the editorial board for traffic engineering textbooks at the People’s Transportation Publishing House. He has previously held positions such as deputy dean of the School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University, deputy director of the Youth Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Agricultural Workers' Party, secretary-general of the Traffic Planning Committee of the Nanjing Transportation Society, and a member of the 10th Jiangsu Youth Federation.
